Extruded mouldings are used in the interior decoration of residential and office premises. They are a perfect accompaniment to ceiling tiles. The use of mouldings improves the image of a ceiling qualitatively and gives it the completed look. They also enable various defects to be hidden from view, such as backlashes between ceiling tiles and the wall, and to smoothen rough areas.
Ceiling tiles and mouldings can be fixed to walls of concrete, foamed concrete, plasterboard etc. The surface should be dry, clean and sound. Ceiling tiles in combination with extruded mouldings can be attached to any surface. Physical or water damage can easily be repaired.
Today the “Solid” Company makes white mouldings, with a length of two metres, which are an accompaniment to tiles of white polystyrene. “Solid” Company also makes coloured mouldings (1m), painted in imitation of natural materials - wood and stone. The surface of a ceiling using such colours looks very natural, and to distinguish the imitation from natural materials is very difficult.
“Solid” mouldings have a precise relief, and are easily installed. It is best to paste the moulding with specially intended polystyrene glue. We recommend the use of "”Solid” Universal polymer glue"
"Solid"universal polymeric glue" (or "Solid" assembly/modelling glue).
