The English interior, as any other classic one, always has moulded decoration elements. Earlier moulded decor was made of stone, alabaster or gypsum, but now these materials have been replaced with high quality polymers, e.g. high-density polyurethane.
It is almost impossible to distinguish decor made of polyurethane offered by the Solid Company from gypsum. At the same time, it is much lighter and stronger, does not become yellow over time, does not crack, and is easy to install – it simply needs to be fixed to a dry, even surface.
The colours of decorating elements may be varied. For instance, one may apply a stucco moulding on the walls, using bronze colour for the doors and then toning it to create the imitation of wooden furniture. The range of Solid polyurethane modelling is diverse: cornices, mouldings, domes, garlands, wall decor, ceiling rosettes, columns and semi-columns, pilasters and pedestals... All columns, bases and capitals are coreless, and thus may be carried and installed by one person despite their huge dimensions.
Polyurethane modelling balances perfectly with lighting techniques. Cornices with fitted lights will create a tranquil tone in the interior. Lighting arranged in niches and cornices will tone vases and statues that are placed there.
