General features: Special transparent overlap for high-quality jointing of underlay strips whish is its distinguishing feature. Three-layer composite material each layer in which performs its own function: the top layer prevents moisture penetration, in the middle layer there are polystyrene foam balls that improve ventilation, due to them the underlay has sound-proofing properties, the bottom one is vapor-permeable polyethylene with a special perforation.
Antibacterial properties: The underlayment possesses bactericidal and fungicidal properties, and specifically effective against: Aspergillus brasiliensis (ATCC 9642), Penicillium funiculosum (ATCC 11797), Chaetomium globosum (ATCC 6205), Trichoderma virens (ATCC 9645), Aureobasidium Pullulans (ATCC 15233)» (According to the studies conducted by Intertek Testing Services Taiwan Ltd.)
